Automatic Pressure-Reducing Control Valve – Nahrab Gostar

Application

Nahrab pilot-operated automatic control valves regulate pressure and flow in water pipelines without external power. A hydraulic control circuit uses the pressure difference across the valve and a precision pilot to maintain stable downstream pressure as upstream pressure and flow demand change.

The pressure-reducing valve automatically converts variable high upstream pressure into a lower, stable downstream pressure. If downstream demand stops and pressure rises above the pilot setting, the valve closes automatically to prevent excessive hydrostatic pressure.

Corrosion protection

Electrostatic epoxy powder coating with a minimum dry-film thickness of 250 μm, suitable for potable-water applications.

The valve can also be manufactured from stainless steel or cast steel (WCB) on request.
