Resilient-seated gate valves are designed for isolation service in drinking-water, raw-water, and other non-corrosive fluid systems at temperatures up to 80 °C. In the fully open position, the valve provides a clear flow path with low head loss. In the fully closed position, the resilient wedge provides reliable bidirectional sealing. Gate valves must be operated only in the fully open or fully closed position and must not be used for throttling.
- Flange dimensions: DIN EN 1092-2 (DIN 2501)
- Valve design: DIN 3352 Part 4
- Face-to-face dimensions: DIN EN 558-1, Series 14 (DIN 3202-F4)
- Final valve testing: DIN EN 12266-1
Advantages:
- Easy operation with reliable bidirectional sealing.
- Low maintenance requirements during operation.
Corrosion Protection:
Electrostatic epoxy powder coating with a minimum dry-film thickness of 250 μm, suitable for potable-water applications.
