Pump Control Valve
DN: 50–1000 mm | PN: 10–40 bar Nahrab pilot-operated pump control valves protect pumps and motors, reduce starting load, and limit water hammer during start-up, shutdown, and sudden power failure.
Application:
This valve protects the pump and electric motor and limits water hammer during start-up and shutdown. It remains closed while the pump accelerates to its rated speed, then opens automatically. During shutdown, it closes gradually through approximately 90% of its travel before full closure. If power fails suddenly, it functions as a check valve to prevent reverse flow and pump damage. A hydraulic pilot circuit uses the pressure difference across the valve to regulate flow and pressure.

- Face-to-face dimensions in accordance with EN 558-1, Series 1 (DIN 3202-F1).
- Final valve testing in accordance with DIN EN 12266-1.
Corrosion Protection: Electrostatic epoxy powder coating with a minimum dry-film thickness of 250 μm, suitable for potable-water service.
